Did you know they give awards out to laundromats? At least they do in Japan, where washing your clothes is apparently serious business. This here is a 'concept laundromat' (and 2019's 'Laundromat of the Year') called Hull – a lovely place in Hyogo prefecture where you can both do your washing and get your hair cut. It's kind of genius if you think about it: getting a new do as you wait for your weekly load certainly beats killing time on your phone for an hour. If you've ever got a few errands to run in this particular part of Japan, you can find the well-designed space over here.
