take us to kuju flower park, please
If you’ve spotted endless flower fields while scrolling through Instagram lately, you’ve probably been admiring the blooms of Kuju Flower Park. Located in Japan's Oita prefecture on the island of Kyushu, the park spreads across 49 acres and features a huge number of plants including pink moss, tulips, sunflowers and poppies. It’s a flora lover’s dream come true nearly all-year round (bar winter when the park closes) and when viewed from above, looks like a huge psychedelic carpet. As if things couldn’t get more picture-perfect, the park is also surrounded by the Kuju Mountain Range, parts of which are covered in pink Kyushu Azalea. We're filing this one under 'Oh my god, take us there immediately'.
