katie kimmel’s dog vases will make you smile
There are many things you can do to cheer yourself up on those less-than-wonderful days, but some of our favourites include: baking a cake and slathering it in pink, buttery icing; screaming into a fluffy pillow; buying fresh flowers; and (potentially the most effective of them all) patting a pup.
We were instantly reminded of the latter two mood-boosters when we clapped eyes on these equally cheery dog vessels by Californian ceramicist Katie Kimmel. Take a scroll through the artist’s online platforms and you’ll quickly realise that she has crafted a lot of the vases in her time. Each adorable piece features a wacky design, whether it be a multicoloured smattering of paint, rows of clouds, or even a Kermit the Frog costume.
