admire juno embroidery’s fluffy, 3D stitches
A round of applause for Japanese embroidery artist Juno, please. Juno’s stitching prowess knows no bounds, jumping from fluffy critters one moment to constellations and intricate botanicals the next. As non-Japanese speakers, it’s hard for us to learn much about Juno from her online presence, but if one thing’s for certain, it’s that she’s a total whiz when it comes to making over basic duds. Using a combination of thread painting and fringing, she turns ordinary clothes into wearable works of art. Much to our dismay, most of her pieces sell in Japan, with no signs of an international shop just yet. Nevertheless, you can still admire her stuff from afar, if you wish.
