Every so often, a song smacks you in the gob and cracks you in two, making your emotions come rushing out like water from a busted pipe. (It’s a lot more enjoyable than it sounds, by the by.) “I’m Stupid (But I Love You)” by Norwegian songbird Okay Kaya is one such tune.
The self-taught muso first laid down some tracks a couple of years back in her bedroom, with the sole purpose of pleasing her mates and their ears. Since then, her music has captured plenty more earholes around the world – including a fair few here in frankie land.
