Life Instyle’s New Breed Scholarship invites Australian and New Zealand creatives to apply.
Are you an up-and-coming Australian or New Zealand maker with a creative streak and a fire in your belly? While it can be a hard slog for emerging creatives to get a foot in the industry door, the rad folk behind Life Instyle (in partnership with thelotco) are offering design newbies the chance to kick down the entire industry wall. The New Breed Scholarship is crafted to champion fresh and original talent from across Australasia by offering one lucky maker a place front and centre at the 2027 Life Instyle retail trade event in Sydney/Warrane. Not only will the scholarship winner have a stall at the trade show in which to show off their creative goodies to an invaluable audience of retailers, stylists and media folk, but they will also receive a prize package valued at over $10,000! Plus, frankie’s very own editor – Shannon Jenkins – is part of the judging panel, so you know your application will be in safe hands.
Sounds fab, right? To be considered for this ace opportunity, you need to be an Australian or New Zealand business that is within its first three years of trading and has never exhibited at Life Instyle before. The application must also come from the designer – not importers or distributors – and the products you make must fit into one of the Life Instyle product categories.
