Geelong's National Wool Museum is back with We the Makers – a biennial design comp that challenges up-and-coming fashion designers to show off their style while demonstrating their commitment to sustainable fashion.
The competition is open to designers in Australia and abroad who have less than 10 years' industry experience. Sound like you? To enter, you have to produce one original outfit that will be judged on its ability to design and redefine sustainable and ethical textiles.
All entries go in the running to win the National Wool Museum Designer of the Year Award (which comes with a massive cash prize of $10,000!), and the UNESCO City of Design People’s Choice Award (an ace $2,000 prize). Plus, all shortlisted outfits will be exhibited at the We the Makers Designer Showcase. How good's that? Entries close on April 16th, so you best get a wriggle on!
