It might not come cheep (ahem, cheap), but the Giant Birdsnest is pretty amazing all the same.

To avoid forcing a feathered friend to build themselves a new home, we've always abided by the 'look but don't touch' rule when happening upon a birdsnest. But now, thanks to Israel's OGE Creative Group, those complex, stick-bound constructions not only welcome touching, but playing, reclining and rolling around, too. The Giant Birdsnest is, well, just what you might expect. Instead of being made up of woven twigs, fluff and forest detritus though, the nest uses wooden panels and huge egg-shaped pillows to create the perfect spot for lounging about.

Know this: the Giant Birdsnest doesn't come cheep (ahem, cheap). The smallest version, which is 2 metres in diameter, costs about $3,800 Aussie dollars – and that's before shipping comes into the picture. Still, if you fancy playing bird for a day, you can have a gander at the website over here.
