Over 55 local ceramics makers are selling their wares under one roof this weekend in Melbourne. (Note: there will also be doughnuts and coffee.)

There are some things that everyone needs: soap (some more than others), food and ceramics. We posit that these are the things you can buy absolutely everyone at Christmas time. So if you’re looking for some sweet pressies (be they for yourself or others), then the Melbourne Ceramics Market is definitely worth a stickybeak. Going down this weekend, you’ll find over 55 emerging and established clay masters under one roof, including the market’s founders Daisy Cooper and Tina Thorburn, along with Lemon Ceramics, RARA Studio, State of Permanence and heaps more. There’ll also be fresh doughnuts supplied by Holy Bombolina, caffeine from Bench Coffee and lush greenery from Fitzroy Nursery. If they didn’t have to pack up at the end of it, we’d probably never leave! Head to Five Easey Upstairs (5 Easey Street, Collingwood) between 10am and 6pm on Saturday and between 10am and 4pm on Sunday to join in the fun.
