Some very big oohs and aahs escaped our mouths when we stumbled upon these zoetropes by Canberra designer Elliot Shultz. Traditionally, a zoetrope is a contraption that combines drawings with special lighting to give an illusion of movement (like those spinny wheels you peeked into as a sprog) – but Elliot’s hypnotising version involves turntables and embroidery, making them even more flabbergastingly fun to look at.
