Got a hankering for a frosty treat, but don’t have a lot of freezer space? Follow Buttermilk by Sam’s lead and make some quick and easy ice-cream in a mason jar.

You don’t need any swish machinery to whip up this creamy dessert – just a hand-mixer. Sam’s recipe makes a super-simple vanilla base, so you can add any flavours or toppings you like (she recommends trying cashew butter, sprinkles and Oreos, strawberries and lemon juice, and Nutella).
