Bianca Wilson paints parking lots and grey concrete in calming coral tones.
Drab grey towers and concrete blocks don’t often make for particularly inspiring sights, but Sydney artist Bianca Wilson sees the city in a different light. In Bianca's paintings, it's as if the bustling city has emptied out at sunset, leaving only the brutalist buildings and ugly parking lots drenched in bright corals and calm blues. The results are rather peaceful to look at, and without the hustle and bustle of people in the frame, we're left to admire the architecture we so often take for granted.
