Holy hotcakes, there’s a tonne of exciting stuff happening at this year’s Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show. Why, you can check out architecturally designed cubby houses (and dream about living in them), cop a squiz at some floral wonderlands – you can even get your hands dirty at a gardening workshop or two.
Oh, and if you hang around on Friday March 23rd, you can marvel at Gardens by Twilight, an outdoor floral utopia. There’ll be classes from Melbourne Flower School for those of you who want to up your botanical skills, and drinks and beverages aplenty for those who just want to have a nibble and enjoy the sweet-smelling flora on display (note: along with a bunch of rad food trucks, including Beatbox Burgers, woodfired pizza will be available from the Potting Sheds – mmm).
It all goes down at the Royal Exhibition Building and Carlton Gardens, from Wednesday March 21st to Sunday March 25th (Gardens by Twilight is on Friday March 23rd and runs till 9pm). Nab a ticket from the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show website, or try your luck and go in the running to win one of the five double passes we have up for grabs.
