zoë sydney’s spiffy blanket statements
Blankets truly are one of humanity’s greatest achievements. They keep us warm when we are cold and can make us feel extra cushy and comfy when we need it most (which is most of the time). Multi-disciplinary artist Zoë Sydney transforms the idea of a security blanket on its head, instead opting to proudly display their personal diary notes in large, hard-to-miss letters for a heaping case of raw, emotional vulnerability.
Zoë uses repurposed textiles to create their bright and bold blankets, and is also a self-proclaimed “snartist” (science-artist) since they also hold a Bachelor’s degree in quantum mechanics.
