Now, this could be a little controversial, but if the book you’re reading is making you snoozy, sad or mad, then why not give up on the thing and turn it into some lovely art instead? Yeah yeah, we know some of you would have a conniption just at the thought of damaging a perfectly good book, so we’ll leave it to Chennai artist Zaisha to convince you.
Zaisha's painted flowers are so soft and dainty that they could brighten up any old gloomy read. Favourite character get killed off? Just cover that bit with a daisy (no one will know). Did the author just use a tired and slightly embarrassing cliché in an otherwise decent novel? A rose will hide that nicely. See? Zaisha's onto something here.
