this artist crafted an entire supermarket out of felt

British artist Lucy Sparrow is serious about felt. So serious, in fact, that she has individually crafted over 20,000 detailed replicas of bits and bobs you’d find at your local grocery store. We’re talking cat food, onions, music mags – heck, even a life-size vending machine. The Beginning of Convenience is showing at decommissioned cheese factory turned contemporary art space, The Momentary, in Arkansas from now until July 2027. While hitching a ride to America might be harder than finding an edible snack in a felt supermarket, we're happy to settle on perusing the strokable art pieces via Lucy’s Instagram.
