these giant lily pads allow visitors to float among nature

By

Ever wondered what it feels like to be a little green frog (or perhaps even a dragonfly) perched upon a floating lily pad? We’re sure the lucky folks who got to experience Jaemee Studio’s interactive ‘Lily Project’ would know.

The project involved 13 huge lily pads that were installed in a pond at the I-Park Foundation in East Haddam, Connecticut, during 2021. The edges of the lily pads are painted a similar green to the real lilies in the pond, so they blend in with their surroundings from a distance. The giant pads are also made of insulation foams that can hold the weight of humans, allowing visitors to soak up the picturesque pond from the comfort of a floating pad.

Is there any scene more serene? We think not.
