the craft contemporary festival is back
Let’s give it up for Craft Contemporary! Craft Victoria’s free month-long festival is back for its second year with more than 50 arty events, exhibitions and projects taking place across the state and online.
Featuring around 300 uber-talented makers (including frankie friends Rachel Burke and Minna Gilligan), the festival explores the evolution of craft in the 21st century.
Throughout October, ogle at impressive art installations, listen to the stories of some top-notch artists, and take part in a workshop or two. You can even tune into a handy online masterclass, like ceramic artist Amy Kennedy’s class on how to land the artist residency of your dreams.
