rogan brown’s breathtaking paper sculptures

By

Sometimes an artist creates work that is unbelievable in the truest sense of the word. Rogan Brown has worked with paper since the tender age of 14, and the pieces he creates now are (almost) unbelievable: complex, intricate sculptures that resemble a coral reef, or a full-body wearable piece. We can’t look away.

Rogan says he is inspired by nature, with his work being “in the space where science fact and science fiction meet and merge”. Definitely more sophisticated and meaningful than the paper dolls we made in primary school. We love Rogan’s use of craft to draw attention to broader issues of sustainability and highlight the delicacy of our natural world. Genius. Check out more of Rogan's work on Instagram.
