printing in solidarity is selling art prints to support indigenous justice
Been itching to start your art print collection? A number of local artists, illustrators and photographers are selling a diverse range of prints to raise money for Indigenous organisations, and they won’t cost you anything over $150. You’ll find the whole catalogue over at Printing In Solidarity, including works from Stanislava Pinchuk, Anu Kumar, Evie Cahir, Amrita Hepi and plenty more talented folks.
Sydney artist Hugh Van Schaick started the initiative in response to the global Black Lives Matter movement and ongoing work to stop Aboriginal deaths in custody. All money raised from the fundraiser will go directly to the Aboriginal Legal Service, which provides free legal assistance to Aboriginal people in New South Wales, as well as Children’s Ground, an Indigenous-led organisation working to reform the education system for First Nations young people. Prints will be on sale from now until September 1st, so head right this way to start browsing.
