make your own brutalist buildings
Upon first glance, Brutal Poland appears to be the usual informative book that history buffs and architecture-lovers would soak up with delight. While the book is brimming with historical tidbits and schmick snaps of impressive socialist-era buildings, it also happens to double as a paper model kit.
The book contains nine pre-cut and pre-folded models of (rather adorable) mini brutalist structures, including buildings in Warsaw, Kraków and Łódź. Plus, the book is bilingual (English and Polish), so all you really need to assemble the little models is glue! Nab a copy of Brutal Poland from Zupagrafika – the clever design studio that came up with the crafty publication.
