fujita satomi’s curious cats
If you caught the brief viral trend that had people squishing their baby’s face into the shape of a rice ball, you’ll recognise a similar energy present in Japanese artist Fujita Satomi’s work. Fujita has been crafting 3D needle-felted critters for 14 years now, but it’s her adorably lifelike kitten frames that have earned her a heap of new fans. If you’ve ever wondered what your moggy looks like while trying to squeeze into a cramped space, this is basically it. Unfortunately, Fujita doesn’t sell her wares outside of Japan, but you can continue gazing at kawaii cats by following her over on Instagram.
