Making a splash in your local body of chlorinated water only looks this grand when said body of water is found somewhere in Europe. Forget doggy-paddling past peeled-off Band Aids and too-low ceilings squeezing the oxygen out of your body every time you break the surface mid-stroke, the Danes have gone and done it right. Right, being restoring an almost 100-year-old civic aquatic centre into an arty dreamscape. Even the nudist swimmers flaunting their stuff in the vintage mosaics are casting looks of envy!
