feast your eyes on some terrazzo furniture
Melbourne fellow Micka Lesinskis is a bit of a dab hand at working with concrete, which is a good thing really, because his new furniture brand, Mortadello, is chockas with terrazzo bits for your home. Each piece is handmade with a special blend of stone chips, pigment and a concrete-based binder – and after four weeks of curing, grinding and polishing, it just happens to resemble the deli meat that inspired the brand name. Should stone, geometry and pretty colours float your boat as much as they do Micka’s, you can head on over to Mortadello to see more.
