feast your eyes on new zealand’s most ambitious sculpture garden
Nestled in the heart of Aotearoa New Zealand’s North Island is a sculpture garden like no other: Gibbs Farm. While ‘sculpture garden’ is the technical term, this extensive area of rolling hills and sweeping horizons – a breezy 1000 acres of them – is more like its own sculpture universe. Sprinkled across the lush Kiwi farmland, visitors can take a gander at Gibbs Farm's collection of boundary-pushing, jaw-dropping sculptures created by some of the most prolific artists in the world. If this sounds like your cup of tea, don’t rush there just yet – Gibbs Farm opens only once a month to a select number of special visitors. While we wait patiently until the next time they open their giant doors, you can find us twiddling our thumbs and reading more about the outdoor museum this-a-way.
