feast your eyes on alex chinneck's surreal sculptures
Alex Chinneck's work is pretty twisted — and we mean that in the most literal sense possible. The Britain-based artist transforms familiar objects (including phone boxes, brooms, tools and even the exterior of buildings) into bendable pieces that, while entirely impractical, look pretty dang cool.
Alex describes his physics-defying creations as "making the everyday extraordinary", and we can't help but agree with him — in fact, we reckon that all of the remaining phone boxes in the world should be tied up in a bow and put to rest.
