charlie baker turns twigs into whimsical sculptures

By

Imagine walking through the woods and coming across a giant nest. Would you climb on in, or hide in case any six-foot birds were about? We would likely stand in admiration, knowing that New York artist and builder Charlie Baker was probably behind such a peculiar creation.

Charlie makes his curious, twisting, twiggy sculptures using natural materials, including dead branches he has sourced straight from the wilderness. His whimsical work reminds us of something that a Wind in the Willows character might inhabit. Or an Enchanted Wood character. Or – you get the picture. Check out Charlie’s full portfolio over here.
