artist nathalie lété painted flowers all over her house

By

If you were the sort of kid who got told off for drawing on the walls (or were painfully denied the chance to paint your bedroom bright purple), you’ll no doubt feel a mix of joy and envy seeing French artist Nathalie Lété’s fairy-tale cottage. Nathalie has spent the last few weeks of lockdown painting a forest of beautiful blooms and pretty songbirds on every wall, floor and door in the house. From her kitchen to the bathroom, she's left no space untouched, and the results are pretty friggin' dreamy, to say the least. Unfortunately, doodling on the walls isn't a privilege you merely gain from entering adulthood (unlike eating ice-cream for dinner), so if you're renting, we'd just like to warn you that flipping through these photos might make your heart ache a little.
