The story behind Melbourne’s Modstitch will be a familiar tale to many of us. When Candice Best felt burnt out by her high-stress corporate job, she needed something creative to occupy her downtime. After settling on cross-stitch as a way to wind down, she found herself longing for more inspiring designs that were still beginner-friendly. With some beautiful designs from Melbourne-based illustrator Sarah Jane Lightfoot, Modstitch's cross-stitch kits and patterns were born!
