In the land of Equiterra, you’ll find a community where all people have equal rights and opportunities, regardless of their gender (and a nifty toxic masculinity recycling plant). Sounds too good to be true, doesn’t it? That’s because it is. Sadly, we’re still living in a world where no country has quite nailed the whole gender equality thing. To bring attention to that, UK illustrator Ruby Taylor has popped her lovely vision of Equiterra on a 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle.
The bookish types at Thames & Hudson Australia are donating 20 per cent from all sales of the puzzle made through their website to UN Women Australia. Plus, they'll match the total amount raised. Pretty cool, eh? They’ve also passed on five puzzles to give away, in celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8. Pop over to our win page to enter the draw.
