Combat bad vibes with sweet words and pretty art.

Planet Earth can be a tough place to live sometimes. But when the bad news won’t stop coming, it helps to know there are rad people out there doing loads of amazing things to make the world a bit brighter. Take Melbourne creatives Wendy Syfret and Alice Oehr, for example. They teamed up to create Nice Things – a zine containing Wendy’s observations of small moments of positivity during 2020, which are accompanied by Alice’s lovely illustrations.

While the worst moments from 2020 are slowly fading from our memories, climate change-related weather events are becoming more frequent. To support the ace work of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who are fighting for climate justice, Wendy and Alice are donating all profits from sales of Nice Things to Seed – Australia’s first Indigenous youth climate network. (Head this-a-way to show your support by snapping up a copy.) And as if Wendy and Alice aren't being generous enough already, they've also kindly passed on five copies of the zine and five art prints for us to give away. Just pop over to our win page to enter the draw.
