win $500 to spend on kip&co x bábbarra
The colourful collaboration is back for the second (and final) time.
It’s not often that you get to set the table with artist Elizabeth Wullunmingu’s bright pink mud crabs or Raylene Bonson’s intriguing linework. Both artists, along with five others from the Bábbarra Women’s Centre in Maningrida, Arnhem Land, are part of a collaboration with Melbourne homewares brand Kip&Co. More than just bold patterns and punchy prints, each design tells an ancestral story of Arnhem Land’s country and culture. It’s no surprise the colourful collection sold like hotcakes after launching in September last year!
The good news is that Kip&Co have re-released the range, though this will be the only time they do so. If you missed out on snagging some special, hand-printed textiles the first time around, we recommend getting over to the Kip&Co site, quicksticks. All profits from the collaboration are split evenly between Kip&Co and Bábbarra, with money going back to support the local community in Maningrida (in case you missed it: we delved into the making of the range over here).
As a special treat to frankie readers, Kip&Co are also offering a $500 voucher for one lucky winner to shop the collection. To be in the running, dash over to the win page and cross your fingers nice and tight. Good luck!
