Do you hear that, frankerinos? It’s the jingle of bells and sweet hum of carols somewhere in the near distance. That’s right, folks – the festive season is here! To kick off the happiest time of the year, our digital copywriter has offered us a list of bits and bobs she’s hoping to find from Santa under the tree. She’ll also accept these lovely gifts from friends, family, and anyone else who may like to treat her this Christmas. Here is Juliette’s wishlist – take note, pals!

1. I’m a sucker for Sofia Coppola paraphernalia and also a sucker for her 2006 masterpiece Marie Antoinette (exhibit a), and so this hefty coffee table book of photos from the making of the film is the kind of thing I’d like to hook up to my veins, please and thank you.

2. I wear glasses only sometimes and I swear to golly gosh that every time I pull them out they have collected a new scratch. What are they up to when I leave them dormant? I imagine they do a Toy Story and have a li’l party on my desk when I’m not looking. Hence, this Baggu x Sandy Liang puffy glasses sleeve would be pretty noice. It’s currently sold out, but I’m hoping Santa can work some magic.

3. All the stuff at Nusantao gift store is so freaking cute, and this bundle of incense sticks is no exception. I’m hoping they’ll make my room smell swish enough to cover up the seven half-empty cups of burnt coffee currently crowding my beside table.

4. I need a new bedspread, like, yesterday. My current Suku one has been through the wars – I don’t know what came over me but I indulged in a bowl of LAKSA in bed while hungover last week… *sighs in orange* – and so dressing up my slumber spot in a whole new get-up would be pretty rad. I especially like this matcha stripe vibe.

5. I LOVE my current phone case. It’s squishy and colourful and super-fun, despite the fact that it does not do its one job, which is protect my phone. More often than not, I’ll pull my phone out of my handbag sans case. Fingers crossed this blue-green polka dot one by Jasmine Dowling takes its job more seriously.

6. It’s been craft o’clock lately at my house, and all my little bits of ephemera need somewhere to live. Plus, the specific shade of green of this TOYO Toolbox is quite calming, too.

7. My trusty point-and-shoot has been tempting to cark it for many a month at this point. Sometimes it’ll take the photo, other times it will blink its tempting flash until I look too silly to continue standing there with it smooshed up to my face. It’s about time I got a new one, and this Kodak Snapic 35mm goodie looks hell nice.

8. If I had my way with things, I would wear li’l shorties every single freaking day, come rain, hail or shine. Unfortunately, they’re not “appropriate” for all occasions – rude! These frilly things from My Mum Made It will be worn, regardless, all summer long if I get my mitts on them.

9. I hope the elves in Santa’s workshop don’t feel weird about making me some underwear, because these bralettes by Bimby + Roy are exactly what I want. Santa’s little helpers, indeed!

10. I already own like three pairs of this version of shoe, but who’s counting. They’re so comfy and you can get away with sporting them from a coffee catch-up to the club. These Rockfish Weatherwear ones might even make me wanna go to the club – and now that would be a Christmas miracle.
