Meet the Barisieur, an alarm clock-turned-coffee maker that we've only been waiting for our entire grown-up lives.

Monday mornings don't seem so scary now we know about the Barisieur, an alarm clock-turned-coffee maker that we've only been waiting for our entire grown-up lives. Josh Renouf is the guy we owe it all to - a British product designer who's obviously had a tight deadline or two to inspire his latest invention.

At nighttime the Barisieur is set up with milk, sugar and coffee grounds. The contraption, which is made up of fancy funnels, tubes and steel ball bearings, somehow heats up the water (magic, probably), setting your morning's hot cuppa within a yawn's reach, and waking you up to the sweet scent of freshly brewed beans.

Such genius can't be rushed, and it sure can't be cheap, either. The Barisieur is currently being developed for retail sale, and it's estimated to cost around $450 Aussie dollars. You can put your name and details down here if you'd like to receive more info.
