Well, well, well. It appears we have just found an ace soundtrack for the summer.
Perth five-piece South Summit have released their sophomore EP Creatures, and it’s got everything you need to survive the heat, the hangovers and the return to work: chilled-out guitars and dreamy vibes for those salty beach days; infectious, upbeat melodies for when you need a bit of pep in your step; and, like all good indie albums, heartfelt lyrics for when you need a hefty dose of inspiration.
Since forming in 2020, South Summit have released a bunch of earworms and booked heaps of gigs, including plenty of festivals, so we suspect that we'll be tuning into their music well after summer ends.
