The 20-year-old London poet started getting major attention while she was still in high school, and her floaty, intimate pop has since won fans including Michelle Obama and Angel Olsen (a pretty big deal for a self-confessed emo teen). Arlo's songwriting is rooted in storytelling and nostalgia – “Caroline” is about a couple she sees breaking up at a bus stop. It’s all a bit melancholy, but captured in a beautiful way, especially with the foggy visuals below.
