There’s something a wee bit scary about ditching the pack and going it alone, but Melbourne bloke Kit Warhurst is pretty pleased he took the plunge.

“I’ve done a lot of things. I’ve played in many bands, recorded many albums, hit the skins, banged a guitar, written songs, loaded vans, boarded planes, lost luggage and lost and found my mind. But I’ve never done my own thing. And I’ve always wanted to do my own thing. So now I am.”

A score writer for TV by trade (you might recognise him from the pages of frankie issue 68) and a former member of punk rock band Rocket Science, Kit’s first foray into solo tunes is chockas with jangly guitars and upbeat melodies that you can’t sit still to.

Pop in your headphones or pump your speakers and hit play below. You’ll be bopping about in no time.
