tsuno charity pads
People find all kinds of ways to do good in the world. For Melbourne lass Roz Campbell, it's via the humble sanitary pad.
People find all kinds of ways to do good in the world. For Melbourne lass Roz Campbell, it's via the humble sanitary pad. The industrial designer started her project, Tsuno, as a way to lend a hand to other ladies in need. Tsuno makes eco-friendly pads using bamboo and corn fibre – and not only does Mother Nature think they're ace, but 50% of the profits will go to charities working on women's empowerment in the developing world. Pretty neat, huh?
Right now Roz needs a little help to get the big-hearted project off the ground, and her Pozible campaign is open for pledges for a few more weeks. Making it even more enticing to take part, Kester Black are donating a bottle of nail polish to the first 400 subscription pledges. Yippee! To find out more details about Roz's inspiration, how you can get involved and the product itself (including the pretty spesh artist-designed packaging), take a wander over here.
