Good news: The Other Art Fair is going ahead after cancelling last year’s event due to, well, you know what. Presented by Saatchi Art, the four-day festival will celebrate all that’s new and emerging in Australian art – from life drawing to live tattooing.
Around 110 emerging artists will exhibit between March 18-21, with 70 of them making their festival debut. If you're looking to start your art collection, the festival is a great place to discover new talent and pick up some ace pieces direct from the artists, too.
It’s all taking place in the heart of Sydney, at Barangaroo Reserve’s The Cutaway. For those who can't get down to The Harbour City, there's a virtual fair happening between March 23-28. The guest artist for the virtual edition is singer-songwriter and artist Brandon Boyd (of Incubus fame), whose works are being showcased to an Australian audience for the first time.
