This zero-waste, zero-energy house effortless blends into its environment – the perfect hideout, if ever there was one.

Feel like disappearing for a spell? Minnesota-based architecture studio Coulson might be able to help you out with that. They’ve recently designed a prefabricated, zero-waste home, called the Disappear Retreat. Constructed from reflective solar-panelled glass, the sleek pad effortlessly blends into its environment – plus it requires no heating or cooling systems and collects rainwater from its roof, making it pretty darn eco-friendly. Fancy one for yourself? Pop over to the Coulson website, where they’re currently taking pre-orders.
