Sometimes a skull needs a bit of prettiness in its (non)life, which is where artist Georgie Malyon comes in.

Not all those who're into skulls like them black and murky. Sometimes a skull needs a bit of prettiness in its (non)life, which is where artist Georgie Malyon comes in. Having worked for years at some of Auckland's top florists, she knows her way around a petal or two, so all her foliage-plus-faux-skeletal-remains installations are cutely coloured with spot-on balance in their composition. Also, we just like the idea of skulls getting a bit girlie in a pretty, pastel environment. Call it goth-lite.
