Three cheers for the Bookchair, a darn tootin’ nifty bit of furniture, indeed.
And now, in super-nifty news: Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto has created the Bookchair – a bookshelf with a chair that slots in and out of it, so you can plonk yourself down and have a read right then and there. The idea is that you personalise your shelf and chair through the books, novels and magazines that you fill it with. Three cheers for honouring the tradition of sitting down to read a good old fashioned book – not to mention the lovely fluid design. Skip over this way should you wish to find out more.
