take a gander at enoki’s artful worlds of bursting colour
Plus, feast your eyes on it in the flesh.
Multi-media (and multi-talented) artist ENOKi has quite the knack for crafting imagination-stretching worlds. Exploring ideas of queer Blakness through their rad works of art, ENOKi is no stranger to using creativity as a tool of resistance – from kaleidoscopes of colour telling stories of spirituality to inspiration drawn from pop culture in our contemporary context. Like what you see? Well, if you’re moseying about town in Melbourne/Naarm anytime soon, you can see it for yourself. ENOKi’s MULANA exhibition (mulana is Yorta Yorta language for spirit) is showing from now until July 19th at Counihan Gallery in Brunswick. If you can’t make, make sure to spy the good stuff being made by ENOKi on their Instagram.
