While we were busy playing with wooden blocks, old school Coca Cola yo-yos and, if we were lucky, Mr Potato Head, these days toy chests are piled with psychedelic Furbies, fashion dolls and bedazzled bling studios (we're not making that up).
The Childrens Dept have stepped in to make amends, stocking a range of lovely things for little people that even us bigguns would be happy to find around the house. Everything is handmade by indie designers from Denmark to Norway and Australia, and there's even a section just for Mum. Woohoo!
