stuff mondays - creative block

You'd be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't suffered from creative block at one point or another, which is why this new book is very special.

From the outside, being an artist, writer or general creative type may seem like a world of endless imagination and belief in your work. Truthfully though, you'd be hard-pressed to find someone who hasn't suffered from creative block at one point or another, and that's even before the niggly inner voices start poking around with their nit-picking words.

As an artist herself, Danielle Krysa – aka The Jealous Curator – is only too aware of these bumps along the road to creativity, and she's just released a book about them, called Creative Block. Featuring interviews with 50 artists from around the world, it's chock full of first-hand tales of dealing with inner critics, negative criticism, lack of inspiration and self-worth, and there's plenty of lovely artwork to keep you flipping through its pages, too.

The handy tome is now available to buy, but we're psyched to have five copies to give away to some creative fellows. To get your hands on one, shoot an email here with your name and address included, and tell us why you think the book could give you a helping hand.
