Now that spring has just about sprung, it’s time to celebrate with a sweet and airy cake.
If you ever need a cake that screams spring, look no further. This here is a strawberry chamomile olive cake, topped with honeyed ricotta – sweet, fresh and delicate enough to be consumed at breakfast or brunch (that's according to it’s maker Tieghan from Half Baked Harvest, anyway). We admit that just staring at this lovely baked good makes us want to fling off our dreary coat and run through a field of daisies, preferably with a slice of cake in hand.
