What is a shrub? Turns out it's not just a medium-sized piece of foliage.
What is a shrub? We thought it was a medium-sized piece of foliage, but apparently it's also a fancy type of syrup made from preserving fruit and veg with sugar and vinegar. This particular one is the Strawberry + Sorrel Shrub from emerald + ella. It takes a week to 'shrub' itself, but aside from that, this recipe looks easy-peasy and tangily delicious. Spot-on for a bit of a summer tipple.
