start-up money stories: kristy from okay lady
Local puzzle extraordinaire Kristy O'Kane tells us how she funded her kick-ass business idea.
Have you ever wondered how much moolah it takes to start a business? Or how you even scrape together enough cash in the first place? With a little help from Xero, we're launching our IGTV series Start-up Money Stories, where we'll be asking small business owners a few frank questions about their finances: how much money did they start with? Did they get a loan? Did they pawn everything they own?
First up in the hot seat is Kristy O'Kane, the founder and owner of Okay Lady puzzles. Kristy was super-organised and mapped out all her costs and potential earnings before venturing out, but that didn't stop any last-minute hurdles from popping up. Kristy tells us all about it in the video below.
