If you enjoy peeking at new and pretty artworks, you may like to tag along to this all-female art show.

You may like to celebrate the arrival of spring by rolling around on the nearest patch of grass. (If so, good on you! We’re advocates of rolling around and grass!) But if you’re less inclined to soak up the sun, and more inclined to soak up new and pretty works of art, you may like to tag along to the opening of SPRING-TIME, an exhibition of works by female artists, opening in Melbourne tomorrow night.

At the RCVA Corner Gallery at 82 Stanley Street, Collingwood, you’ll find eye-pleasing creations from frankie friends, including Kitiya Palaskas and Beci Orpin, along with 17 other smashing ladies from near and far. The fun kicks off at 6pm tomorrow, and a little birdie tells us there’ll be some rather cool screenprinted bags featuring Lucy from Charlie Brown available. (Okay, not a little birdie – we stalked the curator, Melbourne artist Melissa Grisancich, on Instagram. Good, glad we got that out of our system.)

Of course, if you can’t make it tomorrow, you can always catch the show another time – so long as that time is before Sunday October 16th (because that’s when it closes). Head this way for more, and this way for the SPRING-TIME Facebook page.

Artworks (from top) by Meredith Earls, Nadia Hernandez and Susanna Rose Sykes.
