Who needs a lover when you've got great friends? Certainly not us, especially since our pals at Melbourne/Naarm store Shop Gal are hosting two rad events for Galentine's Day.
On Thursday February 13th, head down to Shop Gal at 248 Johnston Street, Fitzroy, for a crafty sustainable workshop. From 5.30pm to 7.30pm, local fashion legend Lady Petrova will teach you how to make your own heart-shaped patchwork bag using upcycled fabrics. Don’t fret if you’re not a sewing pro – she’ll teach you that, too! Just pop over to Lady Petrova’s website to book your spot.
Then, on Friday the 14th, Shop Gal is celebrating the in-store launch of iconic lippy brand Poppy King. From 6pm to 9pm, there’ll be the opportunity to find your perfect lipstick shade, try on romantic corsets by on the Rose, and partake in a love letter station and photo wall. Plus, there’ll be plenty of lovey-dovey themed wares to peruse from Lady Petrova, Squint and Aacute.
